Yvonne Bolin received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University and her Master’s degree from Arizona State University. A native of Wiesbaden, Germany, Yvonne was raised fully bilingual (English / German) and was exposed to Speech Therapy at an early age by her mother, a Myofunctional Speech Therapist in Europe.
Yvonne started her career working in schools in Northern Indiana and moved into the hospital setting in Detroit after obtaining her Master’s degree. She later worked for three years in St. Petersburg, FL with a focus on Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury. Yvonne returned to her native Germany in 2012 and worked at a leading Munich hospital, as well as in a private practice. Yvonne spent two years in Hong Kong where she focused her efforts as a bilingual Speech Therapist at the German-Swiss International School and returned to the US in 2015.
Yvonne has experience working with multicultural children, bilingual therapy, language disorders, articulation disorders, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She has completed training in PROMPT: Intro to Technique and Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, as well as training in Myofunctional Therapy.
Yvonne lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
Yvonne is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and licensed by the Georgia State Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
